Robot vacuum not running

I was going to run my robot vacuum as usual. Saw that there’s a firmware update to version 1.6.173 to 1.6.213. So I tapped update and left it to run.

Later, I went back to the app and saw the update was still showing as waiting. I decided to run the vacuum and update later, however, it shows as vacuuming but it didn’t move or make any sounds at all. It just sat quietly against the dock.

The app shows the vacuum as fully charged, but it won’t actually vacuum. I can stop the cleaning or stop the run, and the app shows the status, but the vacuum doesn’t do anything. I also tried physically moving the vacuum away from the dock and reattach, but still no sounds.

Any suggestions for what I can try?

Update.

I reset the vacuum by pressing both buttons. It came back to life and said the firmware update was completed. Now it’s working fine again.

Thank you for coming back with what worked for you.

Too many support forums I frequent have unanswered questions because the OP never came back with the solution.

Your post will come up in a Google search, and having the answer right there will save a lot of people some aggravation.
