Firmware update going for 4 days

Last Thursday morning (4 days ago) I received the notice that robot vacuum needed a firmware update. I went ahead and clicked the button to update. It has been spinning the gears since then. I have not tried to power off the unit because I have heard of issues with doing a manual reboot during a firmware update on other things (I used to work in IT, so old habits die hard).

Any suggestions? Should I try to do a manual power off and restart?

I had this issues several months ago with a firmware update. I uninstalled and the reinstalled the Wyze app and that fixed it for me.

I don’t know about this specific situation but in the past I have had cameras get stuck on updating and then cleared out and came back in and it was updated. It’s like it got hung up but was updated already. So you may want to try that.
