Lots of issues after firmware update 3 days ago. My SIM cards are recognized! And my settings were changed. My SIM isn’t recognized.
As a result nothing saved to simcard and only sound events were set to record. No video events were record for I’m not sure how long! this doesn’t make any sense why would I even have a camera if I didn’t want video!
No notification of sim car not working or video events not recording. Would be nice to be able to set notifications if a camera isn’t working as expected based on your settings
How does my settings get changed in the first place without warning. This isn’t the first time. It’s frustrating to have to touch my camera settings every single time WYZE makeS a mistake and deleted my settings Then I have to waste my time opening each of my 12 camera, and opening each of the 100 different unorganized settings section to make sure everything remained as I set them
Solutions you should offer because I’m tired of touching each of my cameras after WYZE changes or messes thing up:
You should let me change all my camera settings at once; or
allow me to save off/export the settings for each camera and re import so I can easily update in cases like this.; or
put all the settings in one scrollable level menu (with truncatable section headers. There is no reason I have to keep jumping in/out of 10 sections x 3-5 setting option, x 12 camera!!
I would also like to see audits of what changed after a firmware update on my device. Even if it’s my own log in. Something so I can see what was set before it got messed up.
You said it is recording then it isn’t? Your post is really hard to follow and make sense of.
Never heard of lots of settings getting changed by a firmware update, suppose it is possible. I’ve heard of one or two things needing to be reset, but not tons. If you have 12 Panv4s I guess it would make sense if one had a bug they all have a bug. But nobody else has reported this that I’ve seen.
Are you running stock firmware or beta? Did you test one cam on the new firmware for a while before upgrading the rest?
As for your feature requests, I’d recommend having a look at the wishlist forum and if any are there, add your vote, and if not, create a new topic for each that isn’t there.
It sounds like you’re going into advanced settings before your cam’s profile is loaded from the cloud. Need to wait for live stream to load, wait a few seconds more to be sure profile is loaded, then look at cam settings.
