You can create an Automation to do that with Wyze if desired.

Yes, I have quite a number of shortcuts, rules, schedules.
Iām thinking the same thing and have been looking at TP-Link Tapo. They are even better priced than Wyze (MagCam currently on sale is $70 vs $90 Battery Cam Pro) and have better ratings, features (IP rating, No handicapped features without a subscription, MUCH better app, etc.)
My Outdoor Cam v2 that recently died had water inside and the response I got from support was that the camera is Waterproof not Weatherproof even though it is marketed as an outdoor camera. Outdoor Cam is no longer available with the only battery camera option the Battery Cam Pro. It seems every new camera version goes up in price with very little improvement unless you subscribe to Cam Plus. Wyze is no longer the cheap option that it used to be and they seem too focused on creating a million new gadget products instead of focusing on what got them to where they are and what most people want ā¦ cheap, reliable cameras
