I redeemed a home monitoring code for 6 months subscription today.
The services section of my account shows the following under monthly plan:
Web subscription - renews Oct. 10, 2023
Is this ok - I was expecting this to show March 10 2024 which is six months from now

Was this the Starter Kit that includes the 6mo free on the box?
Did you apply the code on initial install or did you wait to apply the code?
It may have set you up on a monthly subscription wherein it will renew it 5 times in the coming months without charging you before it starts charging you a monthly rate.
The best way to confirm this so you have something in writing before that first renewal would be to contact Customer Support to ask them how the next 6 months will play out and when (just before it expires during month 6) you would need to cancel it if you want to get the more economical annual plan. They should be able to give you all the details.
