Who is âtheyâ? What evidence do you have of this?
Nobody changed the cameras, It looks to me like the shutter device for the night vision is stuck in the purple photo view and half way in between on the second. Cycle night vision to off, on, auto or give the cam a quick shake or gentle tap on the top.
They have high tech equipment EMF. The colours are influenced by magnetism. EMF = electromagnetism
BUT they should be visible and traceable by Wyze security. I would hope they can be ejected from my Wyze system and banned and reported.

I enquired about it a while ago and it was posted to remove the magnets from the base of the cameras which I did. I can sometimes remove the colour using the magnets but not always.

An old friend (40+ years) had been going on about his upstairs neighbor in a two-story apartment house directly above his unit. He thought the guy was âmessingâ with him by:
- blowing smoke into his wall heater so that it came out into his apartment through his wall heater (both smoked)
- dropping things from his window above onto my friends window air conditioner directly below
- laughing and and taunting him periodically throughout the day
He asked me what I thought and I told him it was possible but unlikely. Most people are far too self-centered to obsess that much about someone else.
It comforted him some, it was a start. With our history, he did trust me, respect my opinion. His suspicions slowly subsided.
mswiseone doesnât know any of us, and they are not my friend of forty years, so this is not apples-to-apples, just a story to add some perspective.

Donât have internal cams viewing you in places you donât want to be seen. All any hacker would see at my house is the same view if you walked by the house.
I loved a phrase from a Stephen King movie, âGolden Yearsâ. Above a guyâs desk was a sign that read, âTotal Paranoia = Total Awarenessâ. Makes sense but it can wear you out.

Forgot to say. Before I gave him my opinion, we hung out together in his apartment for several hours and he pointed out the noises, etc, that were bugging him as they happened and I just listened.

The difference here is OP has been provided simple and easy steps (change password, make sure not shared with anyone) but ignores them and keeps posting tin foil hat stuff. She does not appear to want to fix it, seems to want a conspiracy to hold onto, and there is nothing anyone here can do to fix that, so it is just a waste of time.
I donât see the constructive purpose of grossly dismissing things with âtin foil hatâ proclamations. Have you never seen âthe unlikelyâ occur?
Example: @Resist 's recent claims of having received a hybrid v3/v4 cam, while unlikely, now appear to be true.
Resistâs persistent (and in my judgment often unsupported) complaint had biased me against them, and when I saw the thread I skimmed it quickly and dismissed it as more of the same.

Iâm not saying the unlikely is not occurring. In fact someone accessing the cams is entirely possible here, but why would you ignore/refuse to secure your account when you think someone has gained access, and just go on posting more stuff about spying or controlling you with EMF and stuff like that - which is not possible.
I had no problem believing the OGT with OG lens, that one was perfectly believable. What made me tune out that thread was similar to here, solutions were provided and that OP just wanted to go on getting mad at Wyze and saying it wasnât their fault they didnât open the cam for over a year. They wanted to end up with a free second cam basically and kept having an attitude with people trying to help.
So in both cases, just a waste of time trying to help someone that wants to vent or has conspiracy theories that nobody here can help them with.

Do you believe in anything non-material? Not demonstrable by the laws of physics (as they currently stand) I mean?

I felt the same way during the XB7 to XB8 issue. It seems like OPâs transmitter is working but not the receiver.
The mind is a terrible thing.

Absolutely, however when presented with a rational and simple explanation/solution vs a far fetched and irrational one, I, and most people, would first look at the rational one, rather than ignoring it.

First off letâs be clear about this, I never wanted to get a free camera from Wyze with my OGT issue. I wanted what I paid for, which was a higher priced camera than the OG, which is basically what I was shipped, an OG disguised as an OGT. And I didnât have the camera for over a year before I opened it, it was actually less than a year. Anyway, now they are replacing the camera and will get this one back. I wasnât trying to pull anything on them.
If you donât agree with a thread then stop replying them and get in your shoes and walk away.
