Recording while there's motion

Is there a way to set up the camera so it continues recording while there’s motion? Right now it’s recording for 10 to 15 seconds and then stops even though there’s still motion. I thought adding the SD card would change this but it didn’t : (

The SD card does change this, but the videos are stored in a different section. If you’re using the newest version of the app (released yesterday) you should see an icon on the bottom of the 12-second recording that says “Playback.” This will take you directly to the recording from the SD card.

You can also browse all the playback from the SD card by clicking on the relevant camera and choosing “View Playback”

Yes, if you set the local recording to “events only” it will record minute long videos that include all motion to the SD card. If you have local recording to continuous, it will continuously record to the SD card no mater if there is motion or not. There is another completely separate and Independent way of recording that you are thinking of, is the “cloud saved event clips” that are just for notification purposes, the 12 second clips. These are shown in the “events” tab off the main screen. The SD/local recording is accessed by viewing a camera live and clicking the playback button at the bottom.

i have tried this and still only get 12 seconds. is there something i’m missing?

Which location are you looking at footage? Red or blue arrow? Do you have an SD card in your camera and does it recognize it?
