The Wyze site tells me I don’t have any subscriptions, but I keep getting notices saying one of my cameras will be due to pay $9.95 on Jan. 10. I went back a year and see that my credit card said I paid the same amount to Wyze Labs a year ago.
Even more disturbing is that when I click on what seems like the official Wyze site, the https reads auth.wyze instead of just wyze.com and I get a warning that this site may not be legitimate. I would just like to cancel the payment in January, but can’t figure out how to do it. One subscription in October was with Google Play, but I have no idea where this charge is really coming from. It doesn’t seem like enough of a charge as the one from Google Play was about $22.99.
As this is primarily a user-to-user support community, we’re somewhat limited in the assistance we can provide here. Since you have a billing issue, what has Wyze Support said when you contacted them directly?
Also, since one of your charges is from Google Play, then you may have to contact Google to handle that—at least that’s my understanding of what Wyze Support is likely to tell you for subscriptions purchased via the app (in contrast with subscriptions purchased directly from Wyze’s Web site). This seems to be a frequent hassle, so the general consensus within the community is that any Wyze subscriptions should be purchased directly from Wyze’s Web Portal in order to avoid these management headaches and get the best price.
You should be seeing https://auth.wyze.com/login in your browser’s address bar when attempting to sign into your Wyze account, even when logging into the Forum. What’s generating the warning that you’re seeing?
