Thanks for the info. I tried your suggestion and the router still doesn’t show. Also the router is working fine so I hate to power everything down and try to re-install if I can’t get it to work again.
I was on a chat for over an hour with Wyze support with no resolution. The believe the router lost its bluetooth capability, which I guess is the only way to get the router and app to talk to each other. They gave me a bit of a credit to buy another router but it looked like they were sold out of the mesh routers.
Yes, the router has a web UI that you can login to and manage it from.
Odd that if the Bluetooth module is bad that you wouldnt have seen it in your device app list, but I don’t know all the ends and outs of how the device and app interface. I assumed once wifi connected then Bluetooth was no longer a need unless pairing.
But… if you could have logged into the UI from a browser, you may have still been able to manage the device even though it was not in the app.
Unless Wyze support had you try to pull up the UI in a web browser, no way to know since they had you factory reset.
The Wyze Store is sold out, but Walmart, Amazon, and Home Depot have them in stock. If you want to use your credit on something else and buy from them.
You were indeed lots of help. Interestingly I had re-installed the app on my android with no luck. I finally deleted my camera off the app. When I did that I finally got the flashing blue status light when pairing. It worked!
FYI I could get to the router through a browser. Not sure why the tech implied I couldn’t.
