Power supply case broken

I recently ordered a Wyze sprinkler system once I received the item I realized that the power supply unit in the box is broken at the seems, I contacted Wyze and they send me whole new unit just opened the box to the second unit and guess what…… It also has the power supply broken at the same location as the old one, I now have two sprinkler controllers and two broken power supplies has any one else experienced this of 2 out of 2 units are defective there must be more out there. There was no physical damage to the box.
I’m afraid that they will send me a third unit with the same problem, should I just ask for a refund?

Yes, My first one I had the AC adapter fall apart when I went to plug it in. They sent me an entire new sprinkler controller kit and the new plug works fine (it’s been fine for like a couple of years now).

Crazy that you got 2 out of 2, but I can confirm that this happened with my first one.

I wanted to give the sprinkler controller a try and I received one with a separated power supply case. I half suspected bad application of cement and I was prepared to glue it together. Then I spotted the manufacturing date from three years ago. I decided to send it back for refund remembering how my Wyze Thermostat self destructed, several Wyze Cam Pan v2 went brain dead, Headphones decomposed physically, other Cams randomly need reinstalling, but the doorbell and vacuum are holding their own for now. A recent addition of a Wyze Cam Pan V3 lasted 2 days before it became unable to know up from down and left from right. I have other home automation and networking gizmos that have performed flawlessly since day one, so I am going to let that inform future technology purchases.
