Portal Does Not work On Chrome

The following error on all events but not on a live camera view on Google Chrome but not on Firefox. Restarted computer and deleted cache and cookies on Wyze web page.

Same here. All videos on the cloud stopped playing on Chrome. They still work on Microsoft Edge and Firefox. I am NOT going to start using a different browser just because Wyze said so. They need to fix this, and credit us.

I use the portal maybe once a month and it has always worked just fine. Chrome has had at least two updates this week, latest one was today. I can’t play events and the live stream works for 1 or 2 minutes.

I virtually never use the portal, and my primary web browser is Firefox. However, I just logged into the portal using Chrome on this laptop and both events and live view worked just fine. The only thing I could not watch were events on other people’s cameras that are shared with me - which as I recall is the way it’s supposed to be. Same with Firefox.

Entertaining note about this is that when the web view first arrived, Chrome was required.

Same problem for me on the latest version of Chrome.

Same problem here. “Unable to load event” on Chrome, but not DuckDuckGo.

I don’t use the portal, but i tried it using Windows 11 and Chrome and all 12 of my cameras load and display perfectly.

Tried again today, my cams will all load to live view and stream but can not load any events. Everything works on the iOS app Stream and events.

Same here. Spent over an hour las night with Wyze chat, both the bot and real person. Ran through many tests, re-sets, etc. No resolution of the problem. For sure an incompatibility with the latest version of Chrome. My internet speed at home was 910 mbps. Tried on two computers with two different ISPs, networks.

Apparently WYZE was taking full advantage of a security vulnerability or bug that Google patched with their last update to Chrome. It is also possible that Google introduce a new bug, but my $$ is on the former.

Can’t use Events view in Chrome browser again?

Once again I can’t run the videos in "events’

Thumbnails show up but they will not run!

Same here on Chrome; however, on Firefox, it works as intended. The sad part is that Firefox doesn’t support my V4 camera, while the other V3 cameras work perfectly.
