Playing Sound for Multiple Cameras in Group

We bought two Wyze cams and a kindle. we thought we could use this as a baby monitor for both of our kids. We heard about the group feature and got all excited. Baby monitors with 2 cameras are expensive!

Problem is Wyze only lets you hear audio on one camera at a time… doesn’t do much good for a baby monitor. Wish you could hear audio from both cameras in a group.

We are in the same boat and desperately wishing for the same! We have an 18mths old and a special needs 5 yr old, I need to hear both of them, especially at night. Would love to see this happen! Thanks!

Wyze - in lieu of always-on audio stream from multiple cameras, could you use the sound detection feature to auto-enable sound for one camera while in multi-view for the duration of the sound event? Once the sound detection threshold has passed the camera goes back into muted mode.

This is kind of like how some web conferencing software works - the person speaking has the “mic” while others are muted.

Some cameras have a “patrol mode” that will play 10seconds of audio on each camera and rotate through the cameras on display… maybe if you can’t play 2 camera’s audio at once you could at least setup a “patrol” mode

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wanted to put this out there as a possible enhancement since there was good discussion in this topic:

When grouping a set of camera’s it would be really nice to be able to turn on “auto-toggle” to allow for toggling the volume of each camera (automagically) OR turn on the volume of the camera that has the loudest sound. Ideally, this would be great and help out those of us that are using them as a baby camera. This feature would also be nice for some of my outside cams as well

Any update yet on activating sound from multiple cameras while live viewing a grouping?

The thread title says “maybe-later”. That’ll get changed when the status of the wish gets looked into, or developed, or placed on the back burner for the time being. At the bottom of the thread, if you make sure yours notifications is set to “watching”, youll see updates to this thread and will get notified if the topic is changed from maybe later.

Any update here? I use this as a baby monitor and right now have an older child and baby but we’re adding another in August. It would be super helpful to be able to hear both babies at the same time! Or at least toggle the audio between their cameras.

None as far as I know. I’ve been using a third party software that has this function.

Help make Wyze App my baby monitor!

I need audio to play on multiple cameras at once, OR for cameras to alternate playing audio for like 10 seconds at a time. Most dedicated baby monitors with multiple cameras have this feature, sometimes called “patrol mode”. It allows me to hear sound from both kids rooms while I’m asleep, so if either kid wakes up/cries I can hear them. It’s be nice to open a camera group and have a setting where I can have it scroll through all those cameras in 10 second increments or also have the option to continuously monitor just one room.

What are you using that has this feature?

Sound on on multiple cameras at once

Sound on on multiple cameras at once while in a “device group” in order to monitor children better when using the cameras as baby monitors.

This worked for me up until today. Not sure what’s going on.

It worked for my husband, our friends and myself for months and then just stopped working out of no where as well. It was so helpful because we use them as baby monitors.

Can anyone with support speak to this functionality not working now? It was working on my v1 v2 and v3 cameras when in the same device group.

Please. Anyone out there?

Would really appreciate help with the feature that was working for months then just stopped.

Does it have anything to do with having different versions of cams?
