Person detection or lack of

Used to really like these cameras now feeling like we have wasted our money. Paying for person detection and they rarely pick up a person. Anyone else having this issue?

Just clarify, are your cameras Not recording people walking by or is video recorded but the Tagging does Not indicate it was a Person?

It’s sometimes both of those situations. For example, I’ll see a video of my daughter walking back to the house but it didn’t record her leaving the house. It will also day car detected when our cars have been sitting there for hours without moving

What is your Detection Sensitivity set at? My v3 cameras are set at 90.

Many users complaint that stationary cars get Tagged as Vehicle. Apparently, when motion is recorded Wyze AI looks at all things in view moving or not.

I did have it at 80. I just bumped it up to 90. I’ll see how that works

Detection Sensativity of 90 is my sweet spot. My v3 cameras record any motion on my side of the street, but my neighbors have to get to the passenger side of the red pickup to be recorded.

Ok perfect. I appreciate that. I’m rural so it does pick up the cars driving past my driveway but doesn’t alert me. Just records. If will pick up people once they’re closer to my Jeep. Wish it would pick up father down. Hopefully upping that to 90 will help :slightly_smiling_face:

Since you are in a rural area, maybe try setting it at 100. If you can get Person detection more consistently Tagged, you don’t have to look at all the other recordings unless you want to.

That image is incredibly blurry - it is going to have a lot of trouble identifying people.

It’s usually clear. It was dark when I sent it and sort of foggy. It is isn’t very clear.
