A couple of Bucks visited this morning. Opposite camera views. First is a WCO on the tree facing the house. Second is a V3 on the house facing the tree.

Nice, and the final frame is pretty cool:

What’d you use to cut/combine the clips if you don’t mind me asking?

Wow. Is the cat a badass generally?

And is that on-cam IR? If so, I’m jealous,

Yes the V3’s IR is on, no outside lights on that side.

The cat is the neighbors but it likes my property better…lol

The cat actually stalks the turkeys here, so yes probably a “bad-ass”.

here’s another shot of scared-e-fox

That fox thought he found dinner, then chickened out…

I wonder why we say chickened out…that phrase must’ve been made by someone who didn’t own chickens…sure they’ll run away from strangers or other predators sometimes just like most prey will, but have you ever seen a chicken afraid for their younglings’ safety? Those chickens are no joke…kamikaze psychopaths that don’t care how much bigger than them you may be. Scared they are not…they suddenly become “Cluck Norris” and shooting out all sorts of flying kicks, drop kicks and head butts not caring about anything but getting the best of you. Chickens are fierce.

Chickens can get so vicious that they actually have a name for being scared of chickens called alektorophobia…

There’s a reasons people used to do “Cock Fights” with chickens (Roosters)…and it’s not because the chickens ran away scared and petted each other with feathers…

Yes, I got in a fight with Cluck Norris in a developing country at least twice and survived by running away…like a…chicken?

So you’re saying your chickens hit?

I’m scared of the coming alektorol season.

The “Chicken Lady” (@AnnWithAPlan ) would say they are all sweethearts :chicken: :chicken: :poultry_leg:

I guess it depends on the threat. Chickens will run to safety (and if you’re trying to catch them), but yes, when it involves their chicks, look out. Also a rooster will fight for the flock.

Ha, not anymore. Before my hens started laying eggs I was in Calif visiting my mother. My daughter and grands a few miles up the road from me were caring for them. Dude, the only rooster in the bunch was so friendly, he’d hop on my shoulder to sit (and my head if he could). I got a call from my landlady next door telling me that the flock got out of the fence and when she tried to corral them back in Dude attack her and did a number on her leg. I was so upset I told my daughter to handle it. That weekend Dude was dispatched and the had chicken soup. We didn’t want an aggressive rooster.

On the other hand, my neighbor should’ve called my daughter and left them alone.
I’m not allowed to have anymore roosters. They’re good people, but I’d love to be on a piece of property that would allow me to keep a flock with roosters so I can keep the flock going and not have to buy chicks every few years.

Speaking of :chicken: :chicken: I threw a bone out for Dieudonnée Possum last night but she was a little to late. The events screen of my WYZE app is full of “Pet” videos from the past 12 hours.
