Installed the new update and enabled people detection. Notification is on only for people. However, we get notified of cars passing while no actual person walking by gets detected. Defeats the whole point. Is there something else that needs to be configured?

The new person detection feature is also included with a vehicle detection mode. You can disable/enable notifications for either.
If you need help doing that, let me know.

I could be mistaken but I thought currently there was only person detection and all other, i did not think they were singling out vehicles

There’s a vehicle detection mode? I think only the person detection went public. Vehicle detection was in the beta app. @limos you can share the videos and say not a person to help improve the AI. I have had bugs detected as people too.

That is correct. We were testing vehicle detection but that did not move to public release. @limos, we apologize for the false notifications! We’ll work on improving our algorithm. If you would like, you can send us those videos so we can include them in the training but you don’t have to if you don’t want to.

Oh my apologies, I thought vehicle detection was released to the public. Guess it’s a tiny bug.
