This is definitely an issue! Make sure that you have deleted those specific codes from the app. also, try force close on the Wyze app and rebooting your phone.
If the issue is still occurring, please list the exact steps to reproduce this.

  • Understand you put in a new “kids code” and the previous deleted code still functions. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
  • When you say phone closed, Is that a power off reset? Those iPhones have sticky memory.
  • Might have to open Support Ticket.

Yeah the phone has been rebooted by holding down power and volume up. It’s not a huge issue for me as the code is still only known by 3 other people. Honestly I was going to delete the lock from the app and then reset it up like new see if that fixes it

You shouldn’t have to do this to get it to work. You can try it if you like! If you do, let us know how it works!

Went ahead and send them an email to see what they think I’ll post the details when they get back to me

Long Shot: Any chance the deleted code is being restored by automatic iCloud backup?

If that was the case the old username for the deleted passcode would be present in the app correct? As it stands now it’s just the new one that I made and it is a completely different name also.

@Ccarter17

Can you send in a feedback log regarding this issue?

The Passcode is stored on the Keypad. We do not store backup on the cloud.

I’m going to attempt to recreate it right now, I will update and also send in a log if I have the same issue

So I am using android, and I’m on beta 2.15.11

I was able to set up a new code, it worked and successfully unlocked the door, I tested it multiple times to make sure that it was a code that would work multiple times. And then came inside lock the door, deleted the code, went back outside and entered the code and it had successfully deleted and would not unlock the door.

I always have backup codes just in case. and as another precaution all my other doors are also electronic locks so I can’t get locked out :sunglasses:
