same issue as reported - didn’t get back to previous posting before it got closed.
Looks like the PanCam v3 develops a rotating ratcheting gear noise about every year - this is my recent replacement -
last was Sept 2025 - now Sept 2026
Are you mounting them upside down (camera on bottom)? It seems with the pan cams that this makes them much more likely to get water/dust/dirt in them and can make the gears noisy. I have two of them mounted right side up for over 3 years now with no unusual noises, but the one I had upside down for only a few months has a bit of light clicking (probably would have gotten worse if the water hadn’t shorted it out and I’d taken it down).

Granted mine are older (though two slightly different revisions) but have never had anything like that even out in extreme elements for years. For two to do the same thing makes you wonder what the connection is. Steam in the kitchen - getting bumped/knocked over, possibly power related, etc.
