Status light goes from red to solid purple.
Cam won’t reconnect , research says it’s stuck in boot mode.
I have tried all the recommended fixes, unplugged, hold the button etc..

My inference from that is that the Cam gives the appearance of being in firmware update mode. Do you have a microSD card in the Cam when you see this? If so, then what happens when you remove the microSD card and then try to power the Cam up? Have you attempted a factory reset? What has Wyze Support said when you contacted them? Since Cam Pan v4 was introduced less than a year ago, Support may just replace it for you if they determine that their troublshooting won’t remediate this.
Maybe the button is shorted out (cam thinks it is held down)? Should be able to get warranty replacement if it is under a year.
