Cam Pan v4 Reset?

Hello All,

I’m having a problem with a Cam Pan v4. I tried to do the latest firmware update but it failed. Since then I haven’t been able to access the camera. The status light is currently red and will blink on/off once about every 30 seconds. I’ve tried to do a factory reset but that doesn’t work. The light just keeps doing the same thing when I hold the reset button. I had assumed a firmware flash might be my next step but it doesn’t appear that Wyze makes the firmware for the v4s available for download. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix or is the unit likely dead?

If you haven’t already done so, then I’d be inclined to contact Wyze Support. I have also had a Cam Pan v4 in this state that I haven’t been able to recover, and I suspect that replacement is likely their suggested remedy.

Hopefully someone else has a better answer, because I’d hate to see these things just be recycled so soon or end up as e-waste.
