When my pan cam v4 records it does fine, but about a third of the time it fails to see little things. Like a 20 foot fed-ex truck driving straight through the way point. there doesn’t seem to be any pattern, sometimes a vehicle comes but never leaves and other times it leaves but never comes. I’ve changed the sd card to no effect and my wifi is strong and consistant. Is anybody else dealing with this kind of problem?
Are you using “smart detections” or “smart motion tracking”? If so, it will only record/notify if it recognizes the object.
Another thing to keep in mind is you can only log one event ever 5 minutes, maybe you’re seeing the effects of that? It will still record to the SD card, just won’t “tag” or “notify”. But you’ll be able to see the little green spot on the timeline if you’re in event only recording mode.
