Same problem here. I pull up the camera and it’s looking almost straight down. Recalibrate, and it works fine for a little while. Always the Y axis.

I finally sent mine in for a replacement…AND the replacement appears to have the same issue.

My guess, Wyze will release an update at some point to fix the software glitch. Seems like a setting storage (memory) issue. When that gets fixed, we will all be happy. Just my guess!

Restarting the camera will return the camera to the desired home position. I also tried putting the camera in privacy mode and then return it to operation. That does not return the camera to the desired home position FYI.

Sure, but how often do you run the automation? Once a day? So it may spend most of the day staring at the ceiling. That’s the problem. It works, but not reasonable to run it often. I wondered about that when I saw that topic, too, specifically this part: [image] 3.13 iOS app and Pan v4 Firmware Beta Test 4/24/2026 Optimized motor calibration strategy. Hopefully that’s a good sign for this issue.

Cautiously optomistic. It’s been over 12 hours with the new beta firmware (beta 3661) and my cp v4 has not stared at the ceiling once. I’ve checked multiple times and it’s been at the home way point everytime. I’ll keep and eye on it.
