Pan cam v4 died after four hours

Amazon delivered my new pan cam V4 this morning. I set it up using all of the included items such as power supply and cable and put my SD card in from my V4 stationary camera. Everything was working great and the video quality was perfect but after about four hours, it went off-line and I believe the error code was 3051. I looked at the camera and it put its little head down and appeared to be asleep, but when I touched it, it was extremely warm. I immediately unplugged it and let it sit for about an hour tried to plug it back in and no response whatsoever unplugged and removed the SD card, plugged it back in and nothing. It’s on its way back to Amazon and I’ve asked for a replacement, but I wonder if this was just one of the first batch duds that I got hopefully not it seems to be a great camera.

I’m stress-testing mine now. I noticed that it’s indeed warm.

Same with the two Cam Pan V4 I have, the top/head is very warm especially on the lower right side when facing the front of the camera. Heat is the enemy of electronics.

My Wyze cam v4 died after about 10 days of use. I also noticed it was very warm. This was my first Wyze purchase based on recommendations, but is turning into a real hassle.

I remember the Wyze power adapters catching fire :fire:

Now we got the Pan Cam V4 catching fire :fire:

Wyze makes yet another problem
