How did you end up with 2 base stations since 1 supports 4 cams? Do you have more than 4 outdoor cams? Or does the placement of the cams put 1 or 2 out of range of 1 base? Only 1 base is listed in your device listing and it is offline. Is that the 1 that was not connected and you are trying to reconnect it? If the base is connected to your gateway via ethernet cable then 2.4 or 5 network is not a factor. Was your base connected to a different gateway before your present one? When you state you removed, does that mean you deleted? Almost seems like you may have a base or cam or both that can no longer be connected and/or paired. Perhaps more info about what your changes are that led to this point of your non-functiioning base and cam.
As with @Antonius, my base is ethernet connected and 4 cams paired 5+ years and counting.
hi, i never took the one out of the box, it came with it when i ordered cameras years ago. i had them hooked up then with the one base. but the one had stopped working so its been just laying around for years. the one which is showing offline has been hooked up for a while until about 3 wks ago when it went offline and the blue light has been on ever since. no idea if it is really charged or not. its still ono this morning just sitting here. as far as removed, i TRIED to remove or delete, but nothing happened with the camera cause it was not online even though i THINK i deleted it and was going to try and add it again, but canât get it to do it so i then deleted the base part thinking that may be a problem, base will âaddâ and it asks to add the camera and it all stops there. canât find the camera, etc.
i know i may not use correct language but its so trying to get it resolved when you are old and not tech savvy. lol
I believe that you have encountered the âdeath blowâ for these cams. If the cam was offline when it was deleted, you will not be able to recover or reconnect it. Unfortunately, this is a lost cause. You now have a nice paperweight memento.
