Outdoor Camera fails continuously at downloading time-lapse

Why are your cameras so awfully bad at managing time-lapse files? Every time I try to download a file it fails, then corrupts the card file system.
How can something marketed as a tool be so bad at it’s core function???

If your cam is a Battery Powered WYZE Cam Outdoor v1 as you have tagged why do you need to download it ? Just take the micro SD out of the camera to view it in a device with a card reader.
