OG needs to stop with the black screen overlay

One major dislike I have with the OG and other cameras is the darkened screen with arrows that appears when you click to view an event. It seems to serves no purpose but blocks the event.

Suggestions

Remove the overlay on startup. Thereby allowing the video to be seen immediately without being blocked. Then when someone taps on the screen, the overlay can be provide to allow additional actions to be taken. Another alternative would be to move the overlay controls to a different location on the screen.

The button array can be moved to the bottom of the view. Why obscure everything else, is typical programmer-centric UI design. Wyze should really look into getting a UI designer.

Look at the screenshot I attached. Why would you put -any- buttons as an overlay when there’s so much unused space? It didn’t used to be this way. Who is responsible for this mess? I don’t really want to know. Just fix it. And while you’re at it, bring back a direct trash button instead of hiding it in a hierarchical menu.

Tap the screen once and it will vanish

Spamoni, the issue is two fold
First is the video is starting past the actual event trigger. 2nd is the video is PLAYING behind the overlay. So even if you tap it there is a delay that can miss a quick pass by even if the event started just before the trigger.

Also V3 does not have this annoyance and V4 at least keeps most open for viewing.
V4 also starts at trigger. (starting a 2-3 seconds prior to trigger would be more desirable to allow the eyes to orient to what the event might have been as the green box does not always show up. )
