Been having trouble with new OG camera during setup. Continually failing pairing. While trying one setup attempt, camera skipped to a solid blue light but didn’t ask to setup device. I power cycled the camera but it returned to solid blue light. It even appears to record (light turns red) after i make a motion in front of the camera. then returns to solid blue.
Still trying to setup OG. Many attempts to reset has returned the camera to red flashing (4 times) then dark then repeat red flashing. No "ready to connect " or any audio prompts.
Sounds like the speaker in the unit may be dead, mine will continually say “ready to connect” over and over, so when it is flashing red try to go through the setup.
What did Support say when you contacted them? If you’re not getting any audio prompts, and you’ve described this as a “new OG camera”, then I’d expect it to be covered by the warranty if it’s a defective unit and you purchased it directly from Wyze or an authorized retailer. If you’re getting the flashing red status light, then that seems to indicate a successful factory reset. The Help Center recommends using the status lights as a guide if the camera isn’t giving voice prompts. What happens if you try that?
