bought an OG camera a while back. Worked fine until I switched internet providers. Went to go add the camera. Forced me to remove the camera from the app, then tells me to wait for it to flash red. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting from the forums, google, ai, and Reddit. Nothings working. When I plug it in it’s a steady red light then blinks once and then it’s a red and blue flashing. I held down the setup button for 2 minutes before my hand started cramping and couldn’t do it anymore. But no voice says ready to connect nothing. Should I just buy a new camera? Not a Wyze cam obv
Red and blue alternating means it is trying to connect to wifi so you’re not getting into setup mode. Try using something pointed (but not sharp) to push the setup button, try from a few different angles, sometimes the contacts can corrode some.
You don’t need to delete it from the app (too late now), just press setup once (don’t need to hold it) and go through the process in the app as if you’re adding a new device, but it will just update the wifi info.
