Both OG cams give some but not all previews.

Both OG will not accept sd card and I’ve tried 3

Can you provide a bit more info?

  • What do you mean will not accept SD Card?
  • What version of your iOS Wyze App are you running?
  • What is the Firmware of your OG Cams?
  • Are any of these the Telephoto Cam?
  • Do you have Cam Plus, Cam Unlimited, or Cam Unlimited Pro?

Have you tried clicking on a different Events day and then go back to the day you want to view?

This will most of the time refresh the Preview view for me.

Yes I have. I tried that first but it didn’t work :slight_smile:

  • What do you mean will not accept SD Card? …It first showed up. Then within minutes, msg saying not working. Tried to format a few times. Continues to say failed

  • What version of your iOS Wyze App are you running? …Beta 3.85 (6)

  • What is the Firmware of your OG Cams?…. 1.0.98

  • Do you have Cam Plus, Cam Unlimited, or Cam Unlimited Pro

Here are a couple more things to try.

Power cycle your WiFi router, Wyze cameras and your mobile device.

In the Wyze App, clear the App Cache.

I’m sorry it took so long to respond but I finally took your suggestions and then couldn’t find this post to respond. So sorry!!!

Well one of cam messing up again. I got to figure how and where to report to BETA LOL. First I’ve come here in a very looooong time

If you think it’s a beta app and/or firmware issue, then I’d consider finding the topic in the Beta category that matches whichever Wyze app or Cam OG firmware version(s) you’re using and post there. Hopefully doing that gets better direct visibility from Wyze.

I’m pretty sure there currently is no beta app version and no beta OG cam firmware that supersedes production versions.

Are you able to move the problem camera (at least temporarily to test) closer to your WiFi router/access point?

If that camera works more reliably, weak WiFi signal at the original location may be the cause.

Yes I can try that. It is only on the porch no more than 20’ from the door. The router is in the living room just inside. I also forgot to mention at times it will only record like 2 seconds. The feral cat will be walking toward or away from it. Or sitting below cleaning itself. and it stops recording at 2 seconds even though he is still moving.

Even with only 20 feet in between, be mindful of metal objects which can obstruct WiFi. My back deck is about 25 feet from my WiFi router. My old Linksys router could not get a signal through my metal refrigerator but my new 8 anntena Asus router can.

Do you have Cam Plus or Cam Plus Lite?

When you test your cameras close to your WiFi router, I am curious to know if your video events will be longer than 2 seconds or not.
