So I opened my app earlier today around 5PM EST and my cameras show “offline” they were showing normally around 4PM. I have internet WiFi and Lan, when I open the cameras they display fine and I still receive notifications about motion. Below you can see what I’m referring too. Not sure if I should reset base or just ignore it since everything is “functioning”. I’m sure the simple solution here is either to power cycle the camera or base station or heck even all but I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
I haven’t had this issue happen.
Have you tried forcing close of the Wyze app and opening it again?
If that doesn’t work try rebooting your phone.
I don’t think it would be the cameras or the base because the video and other data ic coming through fine.
If the issue continues, please submit a log.
I had the exact same thing happen to both of my outdoor cams today. I was also able to live stream and also continued to receive motion events. I unplugged my WCO base, waited 30 seconds and then plugged it in again. Everything has been fine ever since.
This is the first time I’ve had this specific problem and hope it is a rare freak occurrence. I’m glad you posted this because I was concerned that my drug dealing neighbors found a new way to mess me.
For the record, I am using the most current officially released firmware on my WCO and WCO base unit. Unlike you, I’m an Android user and am using the most current officially released app. I figured this was worth mentioning since you mentioned that you’re an iphone-ipad user when you started this thread.
