Notifications are being sent randomly

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been covered before, but recently I’ve noticed that all 5 of my cameras are randomly sending notifications. For the most part, the notifications aren’t event sent, or the notification comes 2 minutes after the event was triggered. Is this a wide network issue at Wyze?

Is anyone else experiencing these issues? For troubleshooting, I deleted and re-added all cameras. All cameras have up to date software.

Just wanted to hear from the community if others are experiencing these types of issues.

Yes it has been an issue for a few weeks to a month now. In the Wyze app settings turn on “running in background” and in android settings for the wyze app set the battery use to “unlimited”. This seems to resolve it and I haven’t noticed any difference in battery usage on my phone.
