I would like to be notified for doorbell ringing only. Not cars passing on the street, Not conversations with my wife, Not someone’s dog doing his business on my lawn.
Is this possible?
Getting constant notifications is worse than none at all. Sadly I turned off notifications because none is better for my sanity. The doorbell is quite simply just a doorbell.
you can turn off the smart notifications and make sure you have VoIP turned on. Then when the doorbell is pressed, your phone will ring as if it is a call. you can answer and speak with the individual directly if you want.
To Turn on VoIP go to Account>Notifications>Push Notifications>Virtual Calls
In addition to trying VoIP, I would continue to push Wyze to improve individualized notifications overall in these Wishlist topics:
As with any Wishlist topic, you can visit those to click or tap the Vote button above the initial post and share your ideas and use cases in the comments to show your support for the product and feature request/suggestions that are important to you. As an Android user, I’d especially like to see Wyze commit some action to that second topic and put video doorbell notifications into a separate “WyzeDoorbell” (or something else) channel. I think that could solve a lot of user complaints.
