I plugged my phone into computer, located drive, Internal Storage, DCIM, searched for .mp4 files, clicked Properties to locate files on phone (DCIM/WYZE/Camera V3/Manual) and copied to computer. This was working for around a month. Now, when I go to the folder V3/Manual I only see the png files. The MP4 files no long show up?
Let’s start with what phone (iPhone or android), what app version, and how are you saving videos to the phone?
also, which version of Wyze siftware and which camera…v1,v2,v3, pan or outdoor etc

Someone will probably give you a much more thorough response, but here’s a quick take:
Almost sounds like the free 30-day trial of CamPlus has expired, so videos are no longer saved, just snapshots.
Two ways around this - get a CamPlus subscription (and the Lite version can be free, just have to activate it) or put a micro-SD card in the camera itself and enable continuous recording

In the app, under Account, then under Services - make sure your cam is on the list as being assigned to CamPlus.
Then can go back to the cam settings and tell it what to detect, etc
Under Manage Subscription it states my current plan is the Cam Plus Annual Plan?
On the app , account, services do your cameras show up on the list? If you click on the down arrow the camera should have a green check mark next to it.
When you say your getting thumbnails, is there a green bubble with a ? In it on the event video page, or is there a square icon in the corner of the thumbnail when viewing the list

OMG I have a way of making mountains out of molehills. I took a snapshot of what I am seeing with my husband’s (deceased) phone and tried to copy to my cell phone and transfer to my computer. Can’t find it. I see a lot of molehills on the horizon. I check my WYZE Event and Manual folders. Nothing. My fathead brother likes me to poke around before he helps me. Will get back here tomorrow after checking with him. Thanks to everyone!!!
You can log into this forum from a phone
So, turns out I disconnect my camera playing with WYZE. Up and running again. I don’t know how to log into forum using my phone. Both my younger brothers have or having COVID. Yes, they were vaccinated.
Don’t want to bother them to much at this time. The youngest is the go to tech guy.
I am wondering why, since my camera is videoing events, I can’t find the videos when I plug my phone into my computer?
I tapped Playback and found an image in my Events folder, nothing in my Manual folder.
I tapped Playback and tapped the Record button. After tapping Stop I was able to find the video in my WYZE Manual folder, Only it was under Yesterday?

Sorry, I’m not sure we’re understanding what’s the problem. What are you trying to accomplish, and what’s going wrong?
Because the video doesn’t go to your phone. The video recordings can go to (a) Wyze “cloud” servers on the Internet and/or (b) the SD card inside the camera.
You use the Wyze app on the phone to reach those sources, but until you do, the phone itself won’t have copies of the videos.
Open App.
Tap events on the bottom of the app it will turn green.
Tap the picture on the Events page and the video will play on the phone. You don’t need to plug the phone into computer.
Thanks so much. What I do to transfer video to my phone is record the Playback and save. It goes to my camera WYZE folder and I copy video to my desktop.
