You put beta firmware on customer devices?
I had our techs look and its not bata and they dont have the bata app all 8 guys are using Samsung note 10 + thanks Julie service manager

Well its not beta
Prior to loading the beta firmware and Beta App, my V2’s started alerted as I would expect. My wife was in the garage part of the day, I was being alerted a lot. Impressive, some of the time stamps showed similar times but different seconds.
I have since loaded the firmware to the camera’s and updated to the latest Beta App, using an Android Device. Everything still alerting as expected, and the camera’s load faster now. Before, it would hang for a bit before it loaded.
So far so good – still testing.
The firmware that wss released today is beta.
Yup and now no band connection.
Gotta love it
They might as well say it’s alpha until they run it through proper QA and small user base acceptance testing before pushing to production.
That what beta is normally for. Not sure with Wyze. They make feedback as difficult as possible.
Appears my sync connection issue cleared overnight.

I gotta ask . . . . What sort of service do you provide to your customers using 77 wyze cams?
First of all we are a Motorola elite dealership for over 26 years and we have comm sites and also provide low cost cameras to our customers thanks Julie service manager.
I agree. They have enough problems with the cameras. So far my failure rate is 33%.
So yesterday I received a follow up email message for my ticket from more than a week ago about the PD not working. They don’t even admit that they had a problem, and do not explain why there is no toggle for PD in camera notifications.
That said . . . .PD is working on my cameras as well as before, but there is still no toggle to activate notifications in the camera. I have activated it via services, and have left motion and sound detection off. Just one more unexplained bug I guess.
So many bugs. I do wish Wyze would focus on refining their key product offerings such as cameras and associated software functionality instead of adding new toys that also won’t work right. It’s not unreasonable to expect a product to work as advertised…not quite there yet.
Speaking of products that don’t work as advertised, I have been hearing that there are a lot of software realated issue with the robot vacuum.
It seems like they have only half a dozen or so engineers working on their entire product line.
I hope they will slow down on pushing new products and make improve their existing products.
I may like the price point but, I’m willing to pay more for reliability.
They have 4 issues, 1 very poor customer service,2 product support and there C.S. staff has know clue most of the time,3 language issues with C.S. support staff. 4 the turnaround time on getting a defective item replaced.Wyze was doing great with there cameras then they branch out developing new items. I work for a Motorola elite dealership in California and we have been in the wireless business for ober 36 years…and Wyze has the worse C.S. that we have ever dealt with.

Garbage.
What?
Just to add my experience.
I have 3 v3s and person/motion detection was working very well. It started getting unpredictable about 10 days ago, and now 2 of 3 will no longer detect person, package or even any motion. I have 3 CamPlus subscriptions, the only one working is on the doorbell. I moved one subscription to the doorbell because it is not working at all on the other camera.
Firmware, software, or service it is not reliable. Very frustrating.
PS - I sent two requests for support, have not received a response for either. One was sent back in December.
