Last night, I turned off the notification, as normally how I did it. For some reason, I must have touched some areas that changed everything.
This morning, I checked the Events, but none was recorded. The instructions under no events saying I may need to clear the filter or go to the Camera Setting.
Ok, so I could always tap on the live camera rectangular in the middle of the screen and the Setting icon (the gear) would appear on the upper right hand corner. NOW, nothing is there???
I’m not sure if I understand what’s happening or what you mean when you say that you
I don’t understand where you would be in the app to have this experience, so if you could provide some step-by-step detail about what you’re doing—or even include pictures, which would be better—then others might be more successful in providing help.
If all you really need to do at this point is reset the Events filter, then from the home screen of the Wyze app you can tap Events ➜ the “funnel” icon (next to the near the upper-right) ➜ Clear All ➜ Show results.
you know what! It’s so very strange!!! I did not do anything special.
But now everything works again.
OK, so in order to maybe give some feedback to Waze developer team, the screen shots here I are NORMAL as what it is NOW:
THIS IS the proper way I 've always had before yesterday. See, after I tap the entrance camera view on the Home Screen, I would see the Setting icon in the upper right hand corner, as well as being able to set the waypoints in the bottom half portion of the phone screen.
BUT yesterday and this morning, after I tapped the entrance view from the camera (sorry did not take the shots yesterday or this morning when it was not working properly), no setting icon at the upper right hand corner or anything to be changed below the entrance view to set waypoint or anything else:
I’m glad that things are working as expected for you today, and I appreciate the follow-up, the picture, and the more detailed description of what you were doing. I think the additional detail is always helpful.
I’m curious: Was this happening with just one camera? You tagged your topic with cam-outdoor and cam-v3, but the picture shows a cam-pan-v3. I’m wondering if this was a momentary glitch with a single camera or if you experienced it with multiple different camera models. (I experienced a completely different kind of glitch yesterday with the new v3.0 app that I’m unable to replicate today. )
funny thing was WYZE delayed showing me events or functioning properly after two days (remember that I mentioned here that I did not change anything yet might have “touched” something unnoticeablely). As soon as it started working properly as the very last time I updated, the events for the previous 2 days showed up.
I also noticed that once the app works properly again, there was a new icon complete white round button at the bottom for “Shop”. I suspect that while my app not working for two days was when the app was updated??? Not really sure, but just a guess.
Toanswer your question, Crease, I only have one camera, namely “cam-pan-v3”, and I also saw the difference between before and after these two days which seemed to suggest that I have two cameras??
I’m having problems understanding what you’re asking, but that could just be my . When I mentioned the cam-pan-v3 before, it’s because I noticed the graphic to the left of “Entrance Cam” in your picture that shows a Cam Pan v3.
not sure what I was asking either, LOL, for I’m confused how my app works, really. Before my camera was just showed up as Camera, but now it says “1Camera,” as if there was 2camera, 3camera… Anyway, no worries, Crease. It all works fine now. Just sometimes app may act up. No problem! thank you for keep up with me, You replies are much appreciated
You’re welcome, and now I’m curious about one thing:
Where are you seeing that label? (Like, what tab or screen in the app shows that? I’m not seeing it in the picture you shared, which shows “Entrance Cam” for the camera’s name.) I’m wondering if you were messing around in your app and accidentally added a “1” character by mistake. I’ve done things like that.
