Brand new v4 placed on a box that is on the grass. I have changed every setting with no change. Only when I turn night vision mode off does this stop.
Could it be because the top half is light and the bottom half is dark?

I think the starlight sensor is to sensitive and whatever is happening in the distance it keeps on triggering it on and off. Try to aim the camera slightly up or down and see if that helps.
Is that the IR lights turning on or the spotlight?
Try it in Auto with the IR lights off.
@habib I moved it higher on the fence and pointed the cam down a bit. I believe you are correct about the starlight sensor. Thanks for the info.
@Antonius I tried changing every setting possible including the IR.
Most likely the camera couldn’t decide if it was dark or light.
I could see changes in the light on the horizon as if car highlights are reflecting of the sky , I think that’s what’s confusing the sensor.
I’ll send one of my techs over to investigate the V4.
