New v2 cam does not trigger on any events

You need to flash it. That is download the firmware to an so card. Follow you will find the instructions in this picture. Sorry I cannot do better.

So, after a couple of restarts (power cycle), it started recording the events.
Fingers crossed that it won’t fritz out again.

Try setting up nightly camera restarts via the app. I did a long time ago and it’s helped keeping everything running smoothly on my end.

Thanks. I will look into the scheduled restarts if it acts up again.

If this is a firmware bug, it should be fixed and we shouldn’t have to engage in workarounds imo.
