Mentioned in these two topics primarily, but it was also extensively discussed in the beta section of the forum when it was first implemented in the beta app.

Shortcut on the alerts/events playback for live view and recorded playback

Shortcut on the alerts playback screen for live view and recorded playback (if an SD card is present). It would be nice to be able to quickly go from viewing an alert notification to the live stream and/or full local recording. MOD NOTE: This feature has been added in the version 2.6.x app release. Mark Events In SD Card Playback

Well, I still stand behind what I said, especially since they are not security cameras. Yes I know people use then for security, but you should see if the features you require are there before you use them as such. However they did just come out with a way top jump from the event video directly to that point on the microSD card. So that is a step closer.
