I’m not seeing an available update. Did you have to do it manually or ? I think I have beta firmware enabled maybe that is the issue.
The V4 RTSP should currently require being emailed in beta for the firmware. It may also require beta for the app too.
I heard some people were having struggles getting the v4 beta rtsp to work while others were fine though, so I expect an update is coming to fix the issues some people were having getting it started.
I’ve got a few v3 cameras that I haven’t been doing much with after failing to get Wyze Bridge up and running on my HA. Since I had them, I had left one running on my garage watching my driveway because I didn’t have anything else that covered it, and just occasionally looked at it on my phone. Today I just happened to be poking around in the settings and noticed that RTSP was in the advanced options. Turned it on and I was finally able to add my camera to HA. The only oddity for me was that I had to indicate it was working during setup, even though the preview didn’t show anything. But after I added it, it shows up just fine in HA.
@SupportTeam where is the home assistant support? Just offer up some basic API that locally controls the devices like rgb bulbs, switches, etc? I see your rstp work but think of the peripheral! So many more users would buy your products when it works with the #1 home controller. It’s not in competition for your cloud product cause home assistant users where never the ones to but your product, due to lack of support. So why not open a new market of customers to existing products with some sipple code changes. If the community can do it with what’s there already it can’t be that hard.
