Yeah, the Glass breaking detection is optimized for indoor security camera use. It was primary developed for use with the Cam Protect service which would usually have indoor cameras watching an entrance room. Wyze later agreed to expand it to allow others to have this detection now even if they didn’t have Cam Protect, but if you use it outside you’re likely to get some false detections, and in some cases if you have the camera near a speaker (TV, phone, etc) it may do the same from electronic audio in certain situations.
My suggestion for now would be to turn off the notifications for glass breaking if you’re using the camera outside. Or you can help them train the AI to recognize and optimize use for other situations by continuing to submit the false detection videos and letting them know that it shouldn’t have glass breaking detection for that event.
They only update the training data once per month, and it can take a lot of new video submissions for the AI to recognize a significant difference, but I have seen differences happen over time (several months). It can’t realistically be fixed right away though, and will partially depend on enough other people giving them enough submissions to correct it.
