So… how do we get ours to work? My app doesn’t update by itself to add another scale yet

Thanks Dave

@Ramrod For Android users, go to the Google Play Store and search for Wyze Labs. Tap on it and update the current Wyze app if available.

I tried that but nothing shows update, all my firmware updates are for camera only and all current :frowning:

It’s not a firmware update, it’s an app update.

My app shows V-2.12.35 and it doesn’t auto update even when I go through play store (android)

I believe the multiple scale feature is only available in the beta version of the app. I may be incorrect perhaps someone from Wyze can chime in?

@Ramrod
The ability to add multiple scales to one account is in the production app V2.13.118, you are running an old version of the app. If you go into the play store and it is not updating I would delete the app, reboot and then reinstall it from the Play Store. All your devices and settings are stored in the cloud so deleting the app will not affect anything.

As Jason mentioned above you need to update your app. I would do as he mentioned, delete the app, reboot, reinstall the app.

Thank you Jason for that tip about data stored on cloud, I was reluctant to delete as I’ve got several cameras, plugs and bulbs, everything worked great…. Thanks, Dave

I’ve got two scales in different parts of the house, one called Dave scale and the other wife scale and both have their own device name within the Wyze app,… why then does wife weight from her scale show up on my scale and vicea versa? my weight certainly doesn’t fluctuate by 20 pounds and she’s accusing me of using her scale :frowning: both devices are on my 1 account, why do they share data across 2 devices? it makes it tough to see any progress on the graph
thanks, Dave

If you both only use one scale each, it’s best to just have hers on her account and yours on your account. Beyond that, have you shared the scale and she has it on her app? From my understanding, Wyze uses an algorithm to determine which weight information belongs to which account if there are multiple accounts using a scale. If you have everything set up correctly so there are multiple accounts using each scale, then perhaps it’s an issue with the algorithm. I haven’t seen this issue and my wife and I use the same scale, though unfortunately I’m not only 20 pounds heavier :smile:

The whole concept of having multiple scales was to not have more than one account, I didn’t create a ā€œguestā€ login but wanted a 2nd scale in her bath, so with 2 separate devices the data should be isolated to each scale (I’d think) not cross collecting data…
Wyze won’t let me open another account within the same house anyway, that was my first attempt when I bought the 2nd scale.
I’ve got 13 separate devices on my account, now that I can have 2 scales I haven’t tried opening a 2nd account again, but thinking that shouldn’t be a requirement from what I’ve read.

I have 2 scales at different locations and would like the ability to see one timeline with one set of data (trends) regardless of which scale I use on any given day. Right now each scale has it’s own data/results so I will see 4 consecutive days on scale 1 and then 3 days on scale 2, etc. Is there any way to have only 1 Wyze Scale icon and the app recognizes the correct scale via Bluetooth creating one set of data?

I have a scale and my friend has her own scale. How do we see each others data?
