Moving a group of cameras to a new subscription with a different username and password

I originally purchased the unlimited cam subscription for my personal use and put my home cameras on them. We had a need for additional security at where I worked. I put the cameras at work on my personal account as it was easy

during the setup to attach the cameras to the unlimited account. I’ll be leaving the place where I work and want to transfer the cameras under a group name to a newly setup account so IT will maintain control of the cameras.

Can this be done? or do I need to uninstall the cameras and reinstall under the new account. What I was hoping is that you could drag and drop from my account to the new account.

Do a setup on the new account and it will remove them from your existing account. The work account will of course need to get their own CamPlus subscription. Note that with the battery cameras, you MUST remove them from your account first. I don’t own any of the battery cameras so I can’t give you any details on that.

What I’m hearing is that I need to go to each camera and redo the setup process for each camera? If that’s not it. How would the new subscription know what cameras I would like to move. The IT person already purchased a CamPlus plan. Just waiting on me to move them.

You’ve got it.
As I said, if any are battery cameras, there is the extra step of removing it from your account first, but I don’t have details as I don’t have any battery cameras.

I don’t have any either, but the key is the battery cams MUST BE ONLINE when you delete them from your account. Otherwise you brick them so that they are no longer functional and cannot be added to any account, even the original one.
