Don’t want pets, kids that you don’t want to leave or enter.
For my backyard gates, I just use a Wyze sensor. I have it inside a little 3D printed enclosure to make it water resistant/proof, then attached it to my gates. One is on a wood gate and 2 are on metal gates. Then I haven’t notified me when people open them. I even have Alexa announce it through the house when the pool gates are actually opened. And I have it announce and send me a notification anytime. Any of them are left opened for too long or at certain times of night.
Sensors don’t decide access in or out like a lock though. But if you just want to be notified, you can use a sensor. I’ve been doing this for years now. It’s worked great.

Product suggestions are generally recommended for the Wishlist category, but you’re unable to post there as a new user, and How to Use the Wishlist explains that and general Wishlist use in more detail, so I recommend reading that.
Usually with a post like this one of the Moderators might try to find an existing relevast Wishlist topic and move it there, but I’m struggling to understand your product vision without more detail. Are you trying to suggest a lock, a camera, a sensor, a combination, or something else entirely? If you want Wyze to see something like this and potentially consider it—and also be available for other community members to vote and comment on—then a more meaningful description would be necessary for classifying the request, and again I’d refer you to the topic I linked above.
