EDIT: does anyone know if any other existing Wyze cams will work with the Wyze car?
I am looking for a remote car with a camera on it that has night vision. I looked for the Wyze car and the best I could find was one without the camera for $50. The ones I did find with the camera still were around $400.
Would any of the other Cameras Wyze sells work with the Wyze car? I could get the one without the camera and install a V4 or get a Cam OG with a light. But I don’t know if that would work.
I am going to use this for under my house (I live in a double wide modular home and it’s on a concrete slab). I’ve looked under there and I can’t see end to end partially because the HVAC system located near the center of the house and also because of all the concrete blocks holding the house off the concrete. I need to have a mobile camera look under my house for quite a few reasons with one being trying to find out how a cat and a possum are getting under my house (the skirting is secure all the way around) and also to inspect the insulation and flex ducting.
I have not been able to find any inexpensive RC cars with a decent camera that has night vision but I did find a small 2k portable rechargeable camera with night vision that would fit perfect on an RC car. But now I need to know what car would be best for this. It does not need to go fast but does need to have decent control and can carry a camera (plus be able to go over small obstacles that might be in the way).
It also needs to be inexpensive at around $30 or $40.
Alternatively if there is an RC car with a good (2k or better) camera that has night vision I would not have to buy the camera separately and could go up to $80 (if it is possible). A bonus would be if I could rotate the camera via the app remote.
FYI, I currently have 2 V4 cams under my house at opposite corners. Every so often one of the critters just shows up but I can never see where they are getting in. Today though I scared the crap out of the cat as it decided to sit and relax near one of the cams so I hit the siren and the cat took off.
