Mesh router pro location

I have set up my Mesh Router Pro and got the blue light.

It is plugged into my internet router. Does it need to stay that way? I got it because my camera out the back of the house is marginal in range and often goes off line. Moving the router to a more central location would help.

BTW there are no tags that apply to mesh routers.
