Mesh Network Setup in Three Separate Buildings with one Network?

@SlabSlayer , Well less about a point and more about a curiosity. I did just simply say, does it take longer for a reboot/restart when trying to do all at once. I sincerely don’t know. If I had to guess, I would suggest that all them little senior processor chips work extra hard and get a lot hotter trying to manage all those data streams at the same time vice consecutively. But just a redneck guess.

Yeah, C wasn’t an option for you since they all lost LAN mid setup of the Guest Network. When that happens, punt. I was more inquiring about why there was concern with measuring which one was faster. Still glad you have a working network though.

With 6 routers, doing one at a time would definitely be longer. I have done both one at a time and all Sattelites at once. The root doesn’t have issues with doling out IPs to multiple Sattelites at once. The problem created is with the devices on the network. If you do one at a time, those devices on Node A will try to grab Node B or the Root as soon as Node A is shut down. They usually stay there for far too long with a weaker signal. When I do power cycles like that, I always follow it up with a total network restart within the app, and then a total power cycle on all devices so that they are grabbing the nearest node with the best signal.

That makes very good sense.
