We reported this in mid June. Yes, after enough people complained, they fixed it.
And now, its back. Its started on two of my V4.
In case anyone missed this, I also figured out how to temp turn off the speaker if you are interested. I did this before they fixed the problem. Glad I did, not I can prevent a couple of my hidden cams from giving away their position because the problem has started again.
When this happened a couple of weeks ago I was hearing the machine gun static out of the v2 doorbell. Disabling the skill fixed the noise until you guys fixed it and I was able to re-enable the skill.
All seemed normal until I saw this post. I retested and am not seeing the issue. The v2 doorbell made a ding dong sound, my PS V3 picked it up as a chime, Alexa announced it, and I received an app notification and a call on the Samsung S24 Ultra. All as expected. The only caveat is from the time I pushed the doorbell until I could waddle back to the office where the V4 is located took ~10 seconds. It’s possible that something happened in that 10 seconds. I’ll retest when the other half gets home. If something changes I’ll post it. Otherwise I seem OK.
Just for the record.

I just checked my V4 cameras with my Echo Show 8. The loud buzzing noise is indeed back. Admins please pass this along so we can have this fixed again.
I have been checking this thread every day for any updates, nothing new posted. I just checked my cameras using the Echo Show 8 and the loud buzzing is gone. I’m just thankful that it’s working correctly. Hope this problem doesn’t keep popping up.
