Longer cable for Pan Cam v4?

Hello,

Is there a recommendation for longer cable for Pan Cam v4?

With the v3 I used 9 meter cables from Amazon no problem.

I purchased similar cables ending with USB-C connector for new v4 camera, however they did not work. Camera would start up and start moving for less than a minute, then go dead. Factory short cable works fine.

Anything over 15 feet is out of spec. Some have made it 20 to 25 but it is a “YMMV” thing. The thicker the cable (larger gauge) the less voltage drop there will be. Using a more powerful wall adapter can help some too but it is all trial and error. You have to keep in mind that even if you find a combo that works at that length, it may still be low voltage and result in oddities in the cam like SD card getting corrupt, or even damage the cam over time.

It would be better to try and get AC power closer to the camera. There is also the option of using POE with ethernet cable and a USB adapter which several here are doing.
