Question: Am I able to unlock the Lock Bolt from anywhere, using the app, without the doorbell cam?
I currently have a Wyze lock, which I can unlock from anywhere via the app.
I wanted to get the Lock Bolt as an upgrade (keypad, fingerprint), but I’m hesitant to do so if, as the web page says, I have to pair with a doorbell cam to open it from anywhere.

The Wyze Lock Bolt is Bluetooth and not WiFi. Therefore, you will not be able to open it up directly from the app. This is why they indicate attaching it to a Doorbell then you can use that app to unlock the door. But there are currently some issues with Pairing the Lock Bolt with some of the locks. Wyze is looking into this.
Are there any plans to expand support to a Bluetooth hub like the Aqara m3? I would think that connectivity should be possible.
I believe that Wyze is looking into this to see what the best option would be. I know there is a request to have the Lock bolt function from outside the house or location.

Is there somewhere the public could see the status of the request or feature? I’d like to know if/when it hits.
Not off hand. The forums and wishlist location is where you will find the request. But tracking the status in not something that can be easily seen.
