"Live" Monitoring is not Live

The app does function directly on an iPad I have one and it is functioning fine. I also have an Android Tablet working without issue.

If your cameras are in a group, you can play the group and turn the table landscape to see all 3

This is not a discussion… this is complaining and not wanting to hear any other perspective. The person uses the above statement about brain damage, then proceeds to say how it should work due to how other technologies are working with other companies… so, they can’t seem to pick a lane of being disabled or knowing everything.

Run away from this. Toxic poster.

I’ve been advised to buy a $250 mesh router to make a $25 camera work with its associated app.

I did check before I bought. I have the proper equipment, at least via the documentation.
I didn’t know it was ‘toxic’ to expect a company to support its own paperwork.

If these are no longer the minimum equipment requirements, please update them so when people do their research they can know what the actual standards are, instead of being laughed at in a forum for being disabled and poor.

Which is a disingenuous argument… because Apple, Nintendo, Sony, and Kenmore; don’t make cameras. Google does and their Nest cameras have issues as well.

I offered a long explanation of why and you came back with a sarcastic answer.

So, you aren’t discussing this from any genuine place of wanting help or to get to the bottom of it… You just want to be pushy and say “Wyze Should…”.

Well, “you should” read more about networking and these forums to understand what you are talking about. You don’t know what you are talking about and you don’t understand the technology you have.

If you don’t want to listen to advice, then don’t. Move on. There’s nothing here for you.

After hearing that sentence, I think I would have tagged @carverofchoice or @peepeep to join in with their medical backgrounds. I don’t have such experience myself.

While I have certainly known plenty of people with varying degrees and kinds of brain damage, it is very complex with varying levels of functionality and quirks, and we do not have (and are not soliciting for) sufficient information about the type or extent of these things.

For me, personally, after reading through this thread, I would mostly recommend the user to contact official support since the forums are not an extension of support, just other users trying to help people looking for suggestions or enjoying mingling, etc.

Alternatively, if I knew the OP in person, like if they were one of my siblings or parents, I would simplify it for them by setting up a shortcut on their phone that they could click on to directly open up to the Web portal live view or to the monitoring tab with the 4 most important cameras they want to view at all times. Either of those solutions would be good ones from what I understand, but if a user tells me they have comprehension or brain related struggles, I would mostly suggest they have a loved one help them set it up to be simple or refer them to official support.

Your solution could work, but I am housebound and without ‘natural supports’. My case manager continues to try to find a PSS. It’s a good suggestion. I’ll keep it in my back pocket.

I’m sorry I got frustrated when I try to give a very short-form answer as to why something won’t work for me, and am told I’m lying. :confused: Being ‘articulate’ & still ‘sounding normal’ (latedeaf) is the bane of my life.
