When I share access to my Wyze Cam v4 camera with another user, is there a way to limit their available functionality? I am fine with them being able to view the camera and access recordings. But, for example, I do NOT want them to be able to turn On or Off the camera. Is it possible to do that?
It is extremely limited by default and you can’t customize it. They can view cloud recordings, but not SD card ones. Unfortunately, from what I recall, you can’t stop them from turning off the camera, other than telling them not to do it. Has been a a while since I’ve played with guest accounts though, not sure if that function is available to them or not, but I seem to recall a recent post complaining that shared users were shutting off a cam.

No. As @dave27 indicated, there is currently no granular control for user permissions when sharing cameras or any other Wyze devices.
No, and I just confirmed this by turning off a Cam v4 with a shared access account and then checking it from my own account (where the camera was initially added and shared from): The camera was off when I checked with my account.

One of the Wyze cofounders mentioned earlier this year that he thinks things like this should be in the app, but I don’t know where it is with respect to development priorities or what specific sharing/permissions features they might choose to modify. As far as I know, though, the Wishlist is the place to share your thoughts on things like that.
